Instructions for Cleaning Your Face Shield
Remove adhesive covering on both sides of the shield.
Always wear a mask (surgical or N95 mask) under the shield. The shield protects your eyes, ears, and stops you from touching your face.
Clean or disinfect shield before use. Soak in mixture of 50:1 – water:bleach for 10 minutes.
To sanitize the shield, use the hospital grade sanitizer (Cavicide Wipes, Van Guard, etc.). Sanitize all parts of the mask.
If there is debris on the mask, wash with soap and water.
Clean at end of each shift or before use by different individuals. Shields can be taken apart for cleaning.
