Culture Kitchen Guest Chefs - Do you love to cook?  Interested in sharing your cultural background and the recipes that are a part of your country of origin?  In this monthly program, the Guest Chef would meet with our dietician to choose recipes that reflect your heritage.  Then, the day of the program (last Friday of the month) you would work with our core volunteers and staff to help program participants prepare the recipes in our teaching kitchen.  As everyone enjoys lunch together, you would give a presentation on your culture so we can all learn the background behind the delicious food we are enjoying!  This one time volunteer role is perfect for those who can’t make an ongoing volunteer commitment. This would require about 4-5 hours of volunteer time for the day you are our Guest Chef.
